Shinji and Shinichiro are two eleven-year-olds who have been best friends since they were in kindergarten.

In this scene, it's Sunday, and Shinji and Shinichirou usually hang out in Harajuku where all the cool kids are. ^_~






Shinji: I can't believe it. He's not here yet!



Shinji: This is just perfect! He knows I hate waiting!



Shinji: I hate today.



Shinichirou: Eh? Shin-chan? Why are you here so early?
Shinji: It's later than usual and you're _late_.
Shinichirou: I didn't know you would be earlier than usual. I was on the way here when I saw a street vendor selling the cutest little thing! I just had to get it for you.



Shinichirou: I only looked for a short while...okay...maybe more than ten minutes...or fifteen...or twenty...
Shinji: Don't talk to me.



Shinichirou: Hm... What's really the matter?



Shinichirou: Come on, cheer up! Look at what I bought you. It's little Garu!
Shinji: I don't want to look at your stupid trinket!



Shinichirou: Shin-chan, what's wrong?
Shinji: All the stupid "adults" in my house should go kill themselves.
Shinichirou: . . . did they fight again?
Shinji: Yes. And they decided that I had slept enough. The bastard picked me up and threw me out of bed.
Shinji: . . . your father?
Shinichirou: Who else?!? So I dressed and got out of the house as soon as I could.
Shinji: So that's why you didn't dress up today.



Shinji: Would you still have the mood to dress up after you've been told how fucking stupid you look?
Shinichirou: . . . I like how you look.
Shinji: Considering how you dress, I don't think your opinion counts for much, Shinichirou.
Shinichirou: . . . don't be mean to me when I'm trying to be nice.



Shinichirou: Come on. Cheer up a little. It's Sunday!
Shinji: I don't feel like doing _anything_.
Shinichirou: Then we'll just sit here and people watch.
