Sightseeing

This is but one of the graves they'd built around. I find these...interesting. It kind of gave me the feeling that if they'd could, they'd just have built over it. As it is, I don't see anything remarkable about this effort to preserve. *snorts*

Yes, Ferrahn seems to have just the right amount of respect for the dead as those who'd built around and on top of them did. I suppose us walking all around them are according them as much respect. ^_^;;

Our trio of little people. *grin* Errand's freaked out at the idea of graves, admittedly. ^_^;

The front of the tombstone actually faces the entrace. Disgusting green tint on everything. *sigh*

Here's a closeup of the tombstone. It's carved stone. But of course, while there is carpet and rubbish around, there isn't anything else that tells you anything about this historic landmark they'd seen fit to preserve in such a way. *falls over*

Here's Errand with a gravemarker (two?) I'd puzzled over. A wooden one next to a stone one. And placed really close together. I'd been wondering about them, as some graves were only lone stone markers, or lone wood ones. Mars had actually suggested that maybe when they had been building the structure around Syarif Ali's grave, they moved some tombstones together so that they didn't have to build around so much. *_* I would really like to know why they were placed the way they were.

We must be proper tourists and therefore take pictures of this historical monument.

And as a proper Razkil fan, here's another angle of the same picture. *laughs*

And because we know what a jerk Ferrahn is, Mars actually put him in this pose. It fits really. *laughs* After all, he's always acting the "I'm damn bored, let's go already" jerk.

Here are some of the graves that accompany Syarif Ali. Admittedly, this is when Razkil had asked if Key, who'd passed away the day before, had been buried, and if there was a gravemarker to mark her burial spot. I think we were just depressed over that. And over the fact that when you died, you might be buried and have a stone to mark your measely spot on earth, but sooner or later, people will be building and stepping over it as if it were nothing.

These graves are a perfect sample of that. This is outside of structure, in its tiled surroundings.

Yes, you might as well just pull out the wooden marker and cover up the hole and place the trash bin over it for all this 'preserving' you're trying to do.
